How are maintenance and repair costs handled?

You won’t be asked for money in the event of a minor repair. The Property Management company will hold a cash reserve for each property to cover smaller unexpected costs. This cash reserve is raised when we first fund the property.

If the cash reserve is drawn down then rent will be used to replenish the cash reserve which will reduce the dividend payable to the shareholders for the duration. A cash reserve doesn’t guarantee a loss or reduction in your rental income for the month.
