What happens during a period where a property is vacant and doesn’t have tenants?

The Property Crowd together with our selected Property Management Companies understand that minimising vacancy maximises the return on your investment.

Our selected Property Management Companies have strategies in place to successfully reduce vacancies including strict selection criteria, effective use of fixed leases, marketing properties prior to departures and establishing good relationships with tenants.

The Property Crowd endeavour to keep all of our properties tenanted, however there may be periods where a property is not tenanted. During these vacant periods, it is possible that rental income will be affected, which may result in reduced or no distributions for this period.

In the event that the property is vacant for an extended period of time, property expenses will continue to be paid from a cash reserve that the Property Management Companies maintain.
